What Coline found on Greela was devastation. Smoking ruins and dead were everywhere. She rescued a small group of elves from Scro captors and learned what had happened. On 1 Readying a huge force of goblinoids and Scro had swept down on the shipyard and elven settlements. They flew a surprisingly large number of ships, many of them built of iron. The IEN fleet was destroyed, except for ships used to carry refugees away. Most elves that remained were massacred.

Coline urged the party to keep this information to themselves, to prevent undue panic. She did not suggest they take any action, but said that she thought that they deserved to know this information. At the very least, construction of their casino from a Starfly would be very difficult. In response to questions from the party she related some more details she had heard from the captives she had freed. Several related to the nature of Scro. One detail was that the Scro had besieged the largest library on Greela cautiously, apparently taking great care not to harm the books and scrolls there. Another detail was that one captive thought that some other captives, a number of "artifacts", and some treasures had been sent on a ship back to the planet Borka the day after the assault.

The party was divided on what to do. Camen and Elmarth were inclined to take the Stardust and go looking for the "booty ship". Axel thought that plan involved too much risk for a too poorly known reward. He preferred staying on Miraburg. Much discussion failed to reach consensus. Shinshi was not present.
